Why burned dvd has no sound

Thanks all. Alternately, I may try splitting off the audio track. I used the default settings and I did just as expecte. On my conventional DVD player I get picture, but no sound. Thanks for all the suggestions. I may strip the audio out of the MPEG to check it out. Time for some games now to clear my head…. The audio played fine with the VLC player. Load your. Back to your audio issue, perhaps your standalone DVD player is having probs with your burned disc…Try a different standalone….

I use convertxtodvd5. Tried different settings IE convert audio to ac3 for better compatability, etc tried changing audio channels on dvd player and reciever, nada. No sound on standalone DVD player. This suggests something might be happening to the clip on download as AVI from Clipconverter. So I am looking for help understanding why a Bootleg Dvd movie would work video wise,but when the movie begins the audio disappears..
